Convious is looking for an Account Executive (AE) to join our energetic team and build out the UK market. This role is either based out of our Amsterdam office or remote within the UK. The ideal candidate has a track record of successfully navigating a SAAS Scale-up and is ready for their next challenge! We continue to challenge the industry with our state-of-the-art, AI-powered eCommerce platform, which enables our partners to increase revenue while improving customer satisfaction. About you

As an AE at Convious, you are responsible for managing the entire deal cycle: finding new leads, creating new business opportunities and signing new partners to our platform. You will be building up your pipeline through structured and creative outbound prospecting and working on qualified inbound leads. As our new AE, you will be part of an international team, based in the heart of Amsterdam.

You are looking for a challenging role in the SaaS world. Communication is one of your strengths; resilience and courage are the core of your DNA. With several years of SaaS sales experience, you excel at quickly building new relationships, being able to qualify well and running the sales process in a structured way. You are a quick learner and have the ability to pitch our products compellingly. You love to disrupt, challenge the status quo, and change the attractions industry through best-in-class, groundbreaking technology that allows true engagement with visitors.

THE ROLE IN SHORT

  • Responsibility for the full sales cycle resulting in the closing of new partners and venues every month.

  • Outbound prospecting based on a Target Account List, through outbound email sequences, cold calling, and in-person events.

  • Build and manager your funnel in a structured manner - using Meddic / BANT to qualify and the challenger sales method further in the process;

  • Collaborate with (technical) Onboarding/ Pre-Sales and Risk/ Finance early on in the sales process to speed up the process of going live and to make sure the partner is taken care of throughout the Sales and Onboarding process.

  • Work closely with the Marketing and the Product team to further tailor our offerings towards the UK market - ensuring that our products and services resonate with local needs and preferences.

  • Identify best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation playbook

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market and build a decent and qualified funnel

  • Utilize Hubspot, LinkedIn (Sales Navigator), cold calls, and email to reach prospect

  • Close new deals and hit your targets

  • Report to Head of Sales with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

Required skills and qualifications

  • You are driven by impact and outcome and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.

  • You are a strong relationship builder, you are transparent and honest, and you follow a consultative sales approach.

  • You feel confident discussing technical solutions.

  • You are organized, structured, and analytical. You are confident in your ability to discuss and be evaluated based on numbers and clear targets.

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in Sales.

  • You are motivated by reaching set goals and balancing a competitive mindset with the desire to achieve goals together with the great teams at Convious

  • You have strong networking skills and enjoy face to face interactions.

  • You have experience in payments/ fintech/ SaaS (required).

  • You are a native English speaker with excellent communication and presentation skills

  • You are an enthusiastic, inquisitive, and entrepreneurial team player, a strong character, and a natural self starter

  • You independently overcome the challenges you face in a scale-up as well as in an industry where we are considered a disruptor/ industry-first.
