We are searching for an experienced tech lead to join our Convious Engineering team. In this role, you will have a strong influence on how we work and what we work on. It is fine if you do not have experience with the specific technologies we use, as long as you are willing to learn. We are also always open to learning something new from people joining our team.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Participate as an empowered member of a collaborative agile team to design, develop and maintain high-performance experience platform

  • Coach and mentor other engineers on the team

  • Code with Python/Django. Occasional Typescript with Node.js where needed

  • Build REST services that operate at scale are fault-tolerant and efficient

  • Identify opportunities to improve the existing services and workflows to enhance developer experience, operations, and customer experience

  • Leverage continuous deployment and test automation tools in order to deploy application changes to production daily

  • Have ownership and responsibility for your chosen domain

Job requirements

We expect you:

  • Are an experienced software engineer with hands-on work experience in developing or operating at scale

  • Want to learn new things and share your knowledge with others

  • Working with Python/Django

  • Are able to balance code quality with rapid iterations and evolution of the product

  • Have good communication skills and are fluent in English

  • Having great SQL skills, and experience working with Data Warehouses and/or Data Pipelines would be a big plus

Currently, we can hire people who are either based in the Netherlands or Vilnius since we are following a hybrid work policy (at least 1 day per week at the office).
